A family run business that offers 6 self catering properties in the beautiful Severn Valley. All are located near to the Highley Severn Valley Railway station and between 50-200 yards from the River Severn.
The cottage boasts two en suite rooms - one double and one twin. Together with another double and twin, plus a bedroom for two children. At the heart of the cottage is the superb dining room, which is very large and fully equipped with all modern conveniences to cope with your holiday banqueting and the aftermath.
The external facilities offer an outdoor patio area and seating for everyone, with a wonderful view of the steam trains coming and going from the station, together with BBQ if needed. There are ample and safe parking spaces for several cars and a lockable sturdy shed for all your storage needs, when it comes to fishing equipmen, bikes, etc.
The Jolly Roger
The Jolly Roger has a double room and a twin room, eith a bathroom upstairs and a wet room downstairs. There is a large and spacious kitchen, complemented by a large lounge and dining area. If you should have additional guests drop in there is a sofa bed as well.
There is ample parking for three cars and outside storage for fishing equipment and outdoor gear.
The Old Trout
This delightful old cozy three bedroomed cottage has been sympathetically restored to sleep six, with two bathrooms and a kitchen/dining room.
Outside there is a large patio with seating and a brick built BBQ. There is a storage area for fishing equipment and a fridge for bait. There is also private parking for four vehicles.
The bungalow has a large lounge/dining room with sliding patio doors that lead out onto a terrace with a panoramic view across the river.
It has two bedrooms - one double and one twin. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge, which will sleep one adult or two children.
There is ample parking for several cars, plus an outside building with fridge for storing bait and a large undercover area for fishing gear. Garden furniture and a large brick built BBQ are also available.
Hazeldene & Holly Tree Lodges
Each lodge has a lounge/dining area and fully fitted kitchen. Holly tree has one double and one twin bedroom, whilst Hazeldene has one tiwn room and a double sofa bed in the lounge.
Outside there are panoramic views across the river from the large terrace. There is parking for several cars and an out-building with fridge for bait and equipment. Patio furniture is also available.
Fishing is included with all properties, and the beat extends over a ½ mile of the river. Local fishing is excellent with barbel, roach and chubb. A fishing permit is provided free of charge and the appropriate fishing licence is also required. The course fishing season runs from mid June to mid March and fishing for salmon, trout and eel is allowed all year round.
Eating & Drinking
All our holiday lets are located near to the 17th century Ship Inn. This charming riverside pub, which overlooks one of the river's slow sweeping bends, is a free house. You can enjoy restaurant meals and service, the carvery, bar meals, guest ales, afternoon teas and home baked cakes.
There are river walks and country walks from the bottom of the lane. The walks can lead you deep into no where, or to one of several villages and museums around the area.
If you fancy the indoors as well as the outdoors, then the village of Highley has a recently opened sports centre with facilities including a swimming pool, gym, badminton, tennis courts and a football field.

The village of Highley is equidistant from both Bridgnorth and Bewdley on the B4555. When in Highley turn on to Station Road, continue passed the station and under the railway bridge and take the next left on to Ship Inn Lane. All our holiday lets are located on this lane.
