9 mile Riverside Walk and Train Ride from Alveley to Bewdley

Meet at 9.15am to start at 9.30am – 4.30pm

Price Adults £3.50, Child £2.00 for the walk purchased from SVCP. To be paid at time of booking.

Train tickets Adults £7.00, Child £4.50, Dogs £2.00 purchased from Bewdley Railway Station on the day.

Shropshire Council invites you to join the Outdoor Recreation Service and discover the Severn Valley on this 9 mile walk. We will follow the River Severn downstream past Arley, Victoria Bridge and the Elan Valley pipeline to Bewdley. At Bewdley there will be an opportunity to eat your packed lunch or purchase some food from the town. We will then make our way to Bewdley Railway Station and jump on the Severn Valley Steam Railway back to the Country Park Halt.

Please bring a packed lunch and drink, wear walking boots and bring waterproofs in case of rain.

Meet at the Visitor Centre and Teashop, open Wednesday to Sunday 11am to 4pm and every day during school holidays.
