Ghostly Gaslight Halloween fright night at Blists Hill Victorian Town Saturday, 28th October
Dress up in your most scary costume and go along to the Ghostly Gaslight Halloween fright night at Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge on Saturday evening, 28th October when the streets, shops and houses will be transformed into eerie places filled with ghosts, ghouls and monsters. The buildings will be illuminated in spectacular style and fireworks and pyrotechnic effects will light up the night sky.

One of Shropshire’s biggest Halloween events, Ghostly Gaslight will keep all ages guessing what spooky encounter they might meet next – will it be the wicked wizard casting spells, ghostly apparitions in the cottages’ windows or zombies looking for brains.

Amazing light and sound effects will change the town’s peaceful streets into shadowy walkways where ghostly characters lurk, while many of the historic monuments and buildings will be illuminated with vivid colours and frightening effects. A family firework show and pyrotechnic displays around the Town will also create dramatic scenes.

This popular fun and safe event takes place between 6pm and 9pm. Tickets are £10 for adults & 60+, £7.25 for children (aged 3-15) and £32 for a family (2 adults & 2 children) and they must be purchased in advance either online; from any of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums ticket points or the Ironbridge Visitor Information Centre. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult; Ironbridge Gorge Museum Passports are not valid for this evening and dogs will not be allowed.

Visitors are advised to park at the Ironbridge Park and Ride, located at the top of Jiggers Bank (TF43QE) where a regular bus service will take them to the event for a small fee. Limited parking is available at Blists Hill Victorian Town.

For further information, contact the Ironbridge Visitor Information Centre on Tel: 01952 433 424 or visit www.ironbridge.org.uk. The Gorge is easily reached via the M6 and M54 motorways exiting at Telford (M54 junction 4 or 6).
