Half term fun for Airfix model makers

If you’re looking for something exciting to entertain the children this February Half Term, the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford is inviting families to participate in a fun model making activity. Taking place from Monday 17th to Friday 21st February 2014, visitors will have the opportunity to build either an Airfix 1:72 Sopwith Pup or an Airfix 1:72 Albatross.

Kestrel goes on display at Cosford

The New Year has got off to a flying start at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford with the addition of the Hawker-Siddeley Kestrel FGA.1 going on public display. This jet aircraft was built to evaluate the jump jet concept during the 1960s and visitors are now able to view it within the Museum's Test Flight collection.


CROWDS FLOCKED TO THE SEVERN VALLEY RAILWAY DURING 2013

More than 211,000 people visited the Severn Valley Railway (SVR) in 2013 to take advantage of all the historic railway has to offer. Last year’s passenger numbers exceeded the Railway’s forecast by over 6,000 passengers and show an increase of nearly 9,000 on 2012’s figures.
