Cycle-cross race returns to Blists Hill Victorian Town Saturday evening, 27th June

A unique cycling event is set to return to Blists Hill Victorian Town on the evening of Saturday, 27th June. First run in 2013, The Queen Victoria Cyclo-Cross has regularly attracted around 300 of the UK’s top off-road cyclists and has been described by Cycling Weekly magazine as “Britain’s craziest bike race!”


Blitz Hill – 1940s summer evening on the Home Front Blists Hill Victorian Town, Saturday 20th June

Enjoy a summer evening on the home front as Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge is transformed into the 1940s of World War Two between 6pm and 9pm on Saturday, 20th June. Come along to the Blitz Hill event dressed in period civilian costume and experience the entertainment, music and activities of the day as the Victorian town travels four decades into the ‘future’.

As part of Museums at Night, the late night festival of arts, culture, and heritage, Enginuity, one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums, will be opening its doors on Saturday evening, 16th May for a free family event. Visitors are being asked to help create a spectacular image of the Iron Bridge by using a state-of-the-art laser cutter to personalise a coloured acrylic tile.
