CONSTRUCTION of the diesel maintenance depot which Severn Valley Railway diesel locomotive owners have sought for more than 20 years, is to go ahead at Kidderminster later this year, following approval of the Railway’s planning application by Wyre Forest District Council.


Shropshire outdoor pursuits specialists, Live the Adventure, in Stottesdon, are offering a free fun day out for all the family

Visitors to Live the Adventure will be offered the chance to try a new outdoor pursuit, a cross between surfing and canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding, at the centre's annual open day next month. The event will be held in aid of the Riding for the Disabled Association, on Sunday April 28 between 11am-4pm.
