The Old Coalport Station is one of England's most romantic secrets in a beautiful, peaceful, rural setting and within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, overlooking the River Severn. Do you yearn for a touch of nostalgia - back to a bygone age? Then come and stay at the Old Coalport Railway Station in one of our remarkably, restored vintage self-catering railway carriages. The Old Station is one of England's most romantic secrets in a charming, peaceful, rural setting, where you can unwind in comfort, surrounded by beautiful woodland. We are situated in the picturesque surroundings of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site overlooking the River Severn at Coalport and located on the Severn Valley Way (cycle route 45) between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth.

Our sumptuously equipped carriages boast the ultimate in modern conveniences including: air conditioning lounge/dining/kitchen with fridge / freezers, dishwashers, washer-dryers, flat screen TV, DVD. Carriage 1, one ensuite whirlpool bathroom, two further twin cabins and a shower room, sleeps 6. Carriage 2, two ensuite, whirlpool bathrooms with walk-in-showers sleeps 4.

The Station’s peaceful setting is within walking distance of visitor attractions, quality food and traditional ales. Whatever the weather or reason for your stay; we offer fun, adventure and a relaxing time for all.
