WILD! In the Severn Valley- Family Fun Day!
Rangers at Severn Valley Country Park are holding a famiy fun day on Saturday 17th June to celebrate the species rich wildflower meadows at the Country Park.

There will be craft and conservation charity stalls, vintage tractors, classic cars, a real ale bar, pond dipping and minibeast hunts for children, wild flower walks, wild food foraging, Chelmarsh Owl Sanctuary, hay bale throwing contest, have a go textile crafts and much more.

The event will run from 11 am until 4 pm and will showcase the wild flower meadows at the park which will be in full bloom –bring your camera!

Entry to the event is free but there may be a small charge for some activities. Parking at the country park is £1 for two hours or £2.20 for all day.

The Visitor Centre and Coffee Shop will be open serving drinks, lunches and homemade cakes from 11 am – 5 pm.

On the evening from 7.30 pm local folk band Whalebone and local poet Kate Innes will be in concert in the visitor centre. Tickets are £10 adults and £6 children these can be purchased in advance (tickets very limited) by calling 01746 781192.
