Spooky Happenings, Magic and Misadventure at Dudmaston Hall
18th October 2013
Currently open Sunday to Thursday until 31 October (when the property will move to weekend only opening), the property has for the first time, taken the opportunity to really get into the Hallowe’en spirit with lots for visitors to enjoy.
The fun kicks off with the property’s Autumn Colours and Halloween Fun Day on 27 October where spooky stories will be being told; magic trails can be taken; and Hallowe’en treats can be tried in the tea-room. Children will also have the opportunity to make their own spooky lanterns, which will be needed in the Dingle at the end of the day, as visitors join the staff on their annual lantern walk to help them put a stop to the ghoulish happenings.
Also on Monday, 28 and Wednesday, 30 October the property will be running children’s activity days when the Apothecary Magic trail can be taken giving children all the skills they need to keep Hallowe’en creatures at bay.
Visitor Experience and Conservation Manager, Tessa Lovell said “the property is looking fantastic at the moment with all the autumn colours starting to arrive and we have been working hard to make Hallowe’en a fantastic experience for all our visitors.”
