If you have ever wanted to see Bridgnorth through the eyes of a bird why not take part in the CCT’s Towering Challenge abseil on Saturday 24th March 2012?

You can abseil 100 foot down the tower of St Leonard’s Church Bridgnorth to raise money for the installation of toilets, a kitchen and to update the Victorian heating system that the Churches Conservation Trust is putting into the church.
The Churches Conservation Trust is a national charity protecting historic churches at risk and is looking for residents, friends and work colleagues to abseil down the tower on Saturday 24th March 2012. Shropshire County Council and SITA have given grants for a majority of the work, and the Trust needs to raise £10K to support this work.

No experience is needed as full training and equipment is provided on the day. People can abseil together to their favourite track from the resident DJ.

Registration is £10 and people need to raise a minimum of £85 in sponsorship. To get involved ring the abseil hotline on 07850 003751, e-mail fundraising@tcct.org.uk or visit www.visitchurches.org.uk
