Last chance for a walk, shop and cuppa at Dudmaston this year…
10th December 2015
Dudmaston holds its last weekend of opening this coming weekend, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December. The National Trust property, situated just south of Bridgnorth, has welcomed over 78,000 visitors this year and closes its doors, returning to a family home for the winter.
Visitor Experience & Conservation Manager, Tessa Lovell, said ‘We have opened winter weekends up until mid December for 3 years now and they are becoming more popular as people become aware of them. If the weather is kind it’s lovely to go for a winter stroll in the Dingle and then warm up by the fire in the tea room with some freshly made soup and a slice of cake. We have found that visitors have really appreciated the shop being open and have been coming especially to buy gifts and cards, especially since the sale started!’
This weekend the property will be open 11.30am till 4pm with a tasty snack menu in the tea room and some superb Christmas offers in the shop. Don’t miss your chance to have a last peak for 2015.
Dudmaston Park, tea room and shop re- open for Snowdrops walks on February half term weekends, with the Hall and Garden re-opening on the 20th March 2016.
Normal Park only admission charge applies.
