Kitchen Garden comes to life at Dudmaston

Kitchen Garden comes to life at Dudmaston
The Gardeners at Dudmaston have been busy during the winter months creating a new kitchen garden at the property.

They have taken back what was originally a domestic garden and transformed it into a working kitchen garden area that visitors will be invited to have a dig in during the open season.  Complete with chickens it is hoped that the area will be able to provide fresh seasonal produce for our tea-rooms and an educational area for children.

Daniel Bonella-Foster, Assistant Gardener at Dudmaston said “it has been a lot of hard work, but the kitchen garden will be a fantastic asset to Dudmaston and we hope to give our visitors hints and tips on what is in season and how easy it is to grow.”

The kitchen garden will be open when the property opens for the first time on Sunday, 3rd April and is part of a host of new activities that will be available for visitors this year.
