Back by popular demand: Whalebone at Wenlock Pottery

Back by popular demand: Whalebone at Wenlock Pottery in
Following the enormous success of their previous evenings at Wenlock Pottery, popular and lively acoustic folk trio Whalebone will be bringing their 2010 The Gathering Tour to the Pottery on Saturday 19th June at 8.00pm.

Whalebone’s music is a marriage of folk music and classic guitar rock played on acoustic guitars and fiddle, combining upfront spellbinding musicianship, infectious driving rhythms and exuberant presentation. The trio’s performances feature fiery and emotive original material, supercharged renditions of traditional music and wild re-workings of rock guitar classics played with dazzling virtuosity.

“We’re excited to be coming back to Much Wenlock and playing at the pottery, which is one of our favourite gigs” says Whalebone frontman Steve Downs. “It’s always a fantastic night here, and we’re really looking forward to sampling whatever Mike and Shelagh have on the menu this summer!”.

Tickets to the concert are priced at £5.00 each, and a great selection of home-cooked food and drink will also be available on the night; for tickets or further information call Mike at the Pottery on 01952 727600 or see
