A farm shop near Bridgnorth is holding its fourth annual classic motor day on Sunday July 17th. All classic & vintage cars & motorbikes are invited to attend on the day with prizes being awarded at 2pm by Lord Hamilton, Apley Estate owner.

Lady Harriet Hamilton began “We think we’ve got the perfect ingredients for a great summer Sunday - classic cars, an Apley Estate barbecued beef burger, locally made cold beer by Hop & Stagger & Churchfields’ icecream from Worcestershire.”

Lord Hamilton added “It’s an occasion for local enthusiasts to show off their classic car & share their passion.”

General Manager Tina Buckland began “This has been such a popular event growing year on year . For the first time this year, we have opened it up to classic motorcycles as well.”

In 2015, over 80 cars attended including a Delorean, 1983 Panther Kallista, a VW Schwimmwagen & a host of jaguars, MGs, Morgans, TVRs, Triumphs, VW Beetles & campavans.

“Our Creamery Café is set in our lovely courtyard, perfect on a sunny day. will be ready to offer those arriving early Apley’s well-loved breakfasts & later on, our traditional roast Sunday lunch. For later visitors, Lisa’s cakes, handmade on site, make Apley’s Afternoon Teas a real treat” explained Head Chef Mat Jones.

Lady Hamilton, Marketing Manager explained “Our Classic Motor Day has always proved to be a great family day out with plenty of ice creams & fun activities for the children. We are now also really looking forward to seeing Activ8, a local provider of after school & holiday clubs, hold holiday clubs this August.
