Get hands on with the First World War

From Wednesday 18th June visitors at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford will be able to get hands on with the First World War during free handling sessions with a collection of memorabilia from the Museum’s handling collection and items on loan from the British Red Cross.

Blists Hill Victorian Town in Shropshire’s Ironbridge Gorge has once again teamed up with the organisers of Newport’s famous Nocturne cycle race to host an exciting urban cyclo-cross event. Taking place on Saturday evening, 28th June 2014, the first race starts at 6pm and the event ends at 9pm. The exciting Queen Victoria Cyclo-Cross will attract in excess of 300 of the UK’s top riders.
