2017 Festivals

Shropshire Kids Festival 

13th & 14th May 2017 brings the 2nd kids festival to Shrewsbury Quarry with SO much fun for 0-14 year olds, 75m water slide, foam party, over 100 free activities, sports zone, workshops and MUCH MUCH more!

Shrewsbury Food Festival 

24th & 25th June 2017 June - Over 200 amazing food and drink producers, exhibitors, live music, free talks and demos, free kids activities all on the stunning setting of Shrewsbury Quarry Park.

Shropshire Oktober Fest

6-8th October 2017- The newest festival on the block with over 150 real ales, ciders, bubbles and more served alongside amazing live music, tastings and masterclasses this promises to be a huge success.

Telfood Feastival

2nd & 3rd September 2017 - Bringing over 100 food & craft exhibitors to Telford Town Parks QE11 Arena, big music stage, hands on demonstrations, lots of childrens entertainment and MUCH MORE!

The Modern Olympic Games


The 2012 Olympic Mascot, Wenlock, was created to celebrate the fact that the modern Olympic movement all started in Much Wenlock, Shropshire.
