Description

Centrally situated, The Talbot has been a hostel for travellers since 1360 and is famed for its food. Accommodation is provided in a converted malt house.

Inside we have oak beams and log fires. The Malt House with our quiet rooms is situated in our Medieval Courtyard. We are well known for our good food, and are Egon Ronay commended, AA Recommended, Which Guide to Country Pubs and Good Pub and Food Guide.

Directions

From the junction of the A5/A458 (S) Shrewsbury take the A458 south to Much Wenlock. In Much Wenlock as Victoria road turns in to Bridgnorth road turn left on to High Street. Finish at the Talbot Inn.
